Maybe with less people out and about he's getting more bold.
Maybe since the weather's chilly and windy the people aren't outside making noise and he feels safer.
Maybe he's always out during the day, and we just don't notice because we're at work and school.
Maybe the cool weather makes him more active.
I'm not really sure on the reason. All I know is that we've watched a coyote cross the field behind our house 2 days in a row now, in the middle of the day. Our dogs sleep inside, but as they get older they need to go out more often at night. I'm sure glad we have a fence. The pack can get pretty noisy as it is in the summer. I wonder how much rowdier they'll be with fewer people out and about around them? Guess we'll find out...
