COVID-19 Quarantine Day 24 - Reverie

So most people who know me know I love coffee.  A lot of those people know that my favorite coffee shop in Wichita is Reverie Roasters.  Michael and I have been getting a bag of their coffee monthly for over a year now.  I got Michael this coffee subscription for Valentine's Day 2019.  Since then we have switched from just the "Pope's Choice" blend to the "Roaster's Choice" option.  Now we get a different flavor/roast of beans almost every month.  When the coronavirus hit and we realized we were going to be spending a lot more time at home, we switched from a monthly subscription, to a bi-weekly.  That has proved to be a good call, because between Michael and I, we are going through about a pot of coffee a day.  😳  Now I don't make my coffee too strong, so the beans are lasting a while, but they're still going much faster than usual.  So that's the backstory of my love for Reverie coffee....

Fast forward to Friday.  We were home doing our thing when the doorbell rang.  I thought this was weird because we hadn't ordered anything.  When we went to the door our coffee was sitting on our front porch and the OWNER of Reverie was getting into his car.  Our coffee usually comes in the mail, but on Friday, the owner of my favorite coffee shop hand delivered our coffee to our door.  Now that's service!!!  Inside the package was our newest bag of beans, a couple of stickers (I've already added one of them to my car 😍), and a letter.  The letter talked about how, due to the coronavirus, they've had to shut down all of their cafes around town.  It explained how they're still selling their wholesale coffee, and are still able to do subscription services.  It thanked us for our subscription and told us how we were helping to keep their business afloat in these unsure times.  It also talked about how they've had to lay people off temporarily and how they hope to rehire all of their employees/family members when all of this is over.  I just love this company!  I shared this on my facebook page, but thought sharing it here would be good too.  They are good people.  If you love coffee or know someone who could use some great coffee from a terrific company, please consider subscribing to get coffee from Recerie Roasters.  We are doing what we can to keep a great small, local Wichita business in business during these hard times.  I believe very strongly in shopping small and supporting people right here in Wichita, and these are some of the best people.  ❤
Thank you!  Take care and be good to one another!  We love you!!
