Michael and I just played the most fun game with our kids. They make a habit of coming into our room, jumping onto our bed, and crawling all over us. Tonight, after a few minutes of this, we tickled them to keep them off of us. This only seemed to energize them more and want to climb on us more. Through giggles and laughs I mentioned to Michael that it was good zombie survival training, and not to let their mouths touch you. This added a level of fun to our kids' usual pestering. ;) Then, Avery caught on a bit and asked if we were scared of kisses. I told her, "Yes! Like the plague!" Which made Michael laugh and say, "Literally!" Of course, this new information only made the game more difficult because now instead of just pestering they worked REALLY hard to give us kisses. :P We survived that level and Avery moved on to cuddling. I knew that putting up the fight was going to be a never ending battle, do I finally just laid down and waited for the kisses to come. Avery snuggled up next to me and kissed me several times. I tried to be sly and kiss Michael, but he knew I'd been turned and used Connor as a zombie shield. Eventually, the three of us overpowered him and covered him with kisses. I told him that's how it always ends, with your loved ones turning you because you wouldn't decapitate them. Honestly, he didn't stand a chance. ;) :P Can't wait to revisit this game again! May have to buy a nerd gun between now and then... And some day, paintball! :D Seriously! I want to go to a zombie paintball course! Someone invent this! Please and thank you! ;)
