Busy Life

Well, things have been pretty busy with our family the last several days.  On Friday Michelle came into town and Avery and I went to pick her up from the airport.  Then we went to Nancy's event (for a few minutes) to celebrate the end of their Expect Respect grant.  We went to dinner with Sis and a few of the girls she works with at Jose Pepper's.  That was very tasty and nice to get out and see people.  On Saturday Avery and I went to Sis and Adam's to visit for a little while.  Michael stayed home and waited for the sprinkler guy, we were getting them winterized.  We came home and the 3 of us spent a good chunk of the day bumming around the house and watching football.  Then, that evening, we went to Nancy and Barry's house to watch the K-State football game with them, Michelle, and Willy.  We brought dinner over too and had a very nice evening.  :)  It was AWESOME watching Bama lose their first game this season, leaving an opening in the number 1 spot for K-State to become the number 1 football team in the nation!  And of course, itwas GREAT watching K-State win again, taking our season record to 10-0!!  Then on Sunday, Michael was playing at church, and Avery and I went to work for a meeting about the upcoming holiday season.  The girls at work just passed her around and took great care of her.  I have missed those girls a lot!  After getting home, Michael and I went to Target to get Danielle a K-State shift for the Monday game her and I are going to.  But it was so cold out, as soon as we got into Target we had to stop and get Starbucks!  They already had their fall flavors, but had also brought back their Christmas flavors too!!  So Michael got his favorite fall flavor, the salted caramel mocha, and I got my favorite Christmas flavor, the peppermint mocha.  :).  We were happy campers and ready for shopping!!  However, sadly, mo K-State apparel gets shipped to that Target!  I was furious!  They jad an entire row of various KU items, but NOTHING in purple.  I could have smacked someone!  So we gave up there and went to Grandma Heorman's for lunch.  We spent the afternoon with Mama, Grandma, and Grandpa.  We had some WONDERFUL vegetable soup!!  Can't wait to make a pot of my own!!  It was veeeery tasty!!  Then we ran home to see the puppies and run some laundry.  All before we went to Luke and Danielle's house for Danielle's Body by Vi party.  I got to see the girls from work again and Danielle and Luke's new house!  It was fun just hanging out and catching up with people.  Can't wait for the New Years Party!!!!  :D.  We didn't get home until around 10:30pm, waaaay past Munchkin's bedtime.  She was fussy and more than ready for sleep.  We all were out like lights by 11pm, which is super late for these new parents!!  :P.  This morning Avery woke up around 6, so I got up with her and Michael got ready for work.  When he got to work and his day got going he texted me to tell me he'd won the weekly nfl pool!!!  Wooohooo!!  I think he won about $30!  :).  He's watching Avery tonight while Danielle and I go to Manhattan.  :).  Should be a fun night for him and his baby girl.  He's so great with her, I'm sure the evening will go very smoothly.  :).  Danielle and I are looking forward to the game!  I'm also excited to show her Manhattan.  :).  Should be a very fun day!  So that's our busy lives lately.  ;).
