Ok, I know I live in Kansas. I know this is a Republican state. I know that people who live here support the biblical definition of marriage between one man and one woman. I support that definition of marriage too. However, my marriage is not going to suffer in any way, nor is it going to have less value if gay people are allowed to be married. What really gets my goat is people posting on facebook supporting Chic-Fil-A and claiming "they are just using their first amendment rights". These are the same people who refuse to shop at JC Pennies after a gay couple is featured in their catalog. You hypocrites!!!! JC Pennies have first amendment rights too! So no, you aren't supporting Chic-Fil-A because they are using their first amendment rights. You are supporting them because you believe in the same definition of marriage that they do. This has nothing to do with the first amendment. You are simply using it to fight back at those people who are calling you biggots. When, in fact, you are doing the exact same thing by refusing to shop at places who are supporters of gay rights. You make me crazy!! This goes out to a certain facebook family member who posts all sorts of right wing crap all over facebook. When I defriend you on there, this is why.
